I’m not getting into that “promo sensitive” theory or any of that. All i said is the album was front-loaded with bundles and collabs with steaming juggernauts. We will see next weeks #s which will truly reflect the GP’s interest 

I wonder how the second week drop is gonna be considering the tracks are collapsing on Spotify and Apple Music (ROM and Sour Candy the only ones in the top 100 ). It's also not #1 on iTunes anymore.

It’s not though. It’s a very simple concept. Artists like Gaga are more dependent on traditional promo (and have more to gain from it) than streaming-era artists with very young or urban fanbases.

It's giving me flashback when JOANNE overperformed the HDD Prediction and they're like "it's gonna drop hard".

This. Imagine pretending that there's NOTHING wrong or weird happening with this album release   The ignorance of some people just for a cheap drag! Promo cancelled, Targets closed, Her online store closed, Streaming was already low due to Pandemic and now the protests too... so many real factors - facts not something made up by us... imagine acting dense, for what?

the reality is the world knows the album is out. It's available WORLDWIDE on every major streaming platform and some music retailers. you don't need promo these days. the INTERNET is promo. Her doing some tv interviews (that people would've found on youtube) wasn't going to change much. if people can't go to target to get the album.... they can buy it on iTunes or stream it ANYWHERE. stop making excuses guys and say congrats on the 275k debut! This is after the success of ASIB and all of that promotion, a collaboration with one of the biggest streaming artists (and Blackpink), ect. I wonder what second week will be.

Taking an L on what  are you this disconnected from reality

The country is shut down with riots, fire, looting and fear.  Gaga shut down her own online shop and is focussing on the matter at hand (racism) rather than promoting her own record. Of course numbers are not going to be what they would have been.  Dragging her without recognizing that is shameful.
