The one which people still remember! I haven’t heard Say Something in years I forgot it existed until you made this thread :rip:

Womanizer>>>>>>>>

Say Something flopped big time but it was understandable since it was like the 5th? Single of The Emancipation of Mimi. So underrated tho

I had to think about what Say Something was before I opened this thread. That gives you the answer: Womanizer.

Say Something sweetie...

Youtube:

Say Something - 501M.

Womanizer - 281M.

Daily views:

Say Something - 141,905

Womanizer - 105,554

Spotify:

Say Something - 614M.

Womanizer - 194M.

Grammy:

Say Something - Yes

Womanizer - :rip:

Say Something is a classic, a talent show staple. As a Keeps Gettin' Better copy, Womanizer is doing quite well but is nowhere near the success of Say Something.

I would have to go with “Womanizer” for all three!

So a streaming era hit is barely getting more daily streams than a song from the digital era? Yikes.

Womanizer obviously, but Say Something is cute, another original track that Christina had to hop on to get a hit I guess

Also say something digital sales- 6000000 USA

womanizer digital sales - 3500000 USA

Say Something is definitely the better song and did better on most metrics tbh. Womaniser is more iconic/remembered but the song itself is so repetitive and didn’t cover any new territory for britney not that Say Something did either but at least it has a timeless value.

Another song Christina had to hop on? Say Something was free falling “Until Christina jumped on it” .

Make it make sense.

Did you really try to compare Womanizer’s pure sales with Say Something’s sales plus streaming stats? :deadbanana:

Global sales:

Womanizer - 7,195,000 digital / 150,000 physical

Say Something - 6,900,000 digital / N/A physical

Womanizer was a much bigger song globally. Say Something will end up having higher stats as a single due to the market it was released in, but Womanizer still has a hefty advantage in terms of the equivalent album sales that it earned.

Say Something is a TERRIBLE song. I hate all that soccer mom music

:clap3:

Say Something was released at the peak of digital sales and Womanizer still has more sales

Say Something had its catalog streams benefited by the growth of streaming Era

While womanizer was excluded of youtube and lost a lot views when VEVO came out... even spotify was only a thing years after its release

anyway Womanizer was the lead of a 4M seller album, Say Something struggled to make A Great big World album to sell some coins
