J. Cole did 197m streams in 2016, and 323m in 2018.

Future did 45~ million streams in 2016, and 144 million in 2019.

 

Nobody should still be doing on par with 2016 streaming if their career is at the same level as then, or increased.

But I did see mixed reviews from his original base still pissed off he hasnt given another Trilogy

Hmm I think both Ari and Future are bigger now than how they were in 2016, while Abel definitely had more momentum in 2016 with Starboy, IFIC etc. 

Take that into account + less tracks + Corona virus (apparently it's hurting streams) = this is fine imo. Nothing impressive for him but still good. 

 

However it must be said that no new tracks have took off weirdly. Even In Your Eyes with a video and playlists isnt doing anything special.
