The O’Connell Family STOMPING

LOL what a mess

Unlist it.

Why would her brother be above her? Does he have other songs written that's not with her charting?

Is Shallow able to chart there?

She didn't write When The Party's Over

I think this is great, will be interesting to see how this changes people's perspectives of popular artists.

Will they be counting stolen writing credits? Or will they make a rule to remove those just like how they remove fraudulent sales as well?

I like the idea of this.

Beyonce is coming to slay

Billie's brother came in the right time

Why do I feel like he will be the new songwriter prodigy with these gen Z praising his lyric?

becuase his 1 song has ~800 points. the only reason he isn't #1 is because he's splitting the points with 4 other people

Do you ever get tired of flamebaiting and instigating stan wars?

this is great. more spotlight on talented writers and producers

Mariah would have STOMPED on this in the 90s.

Do you ever get tired of being mad about everything?

This is a legit question given that they do in fact not count some sales even though somebody "payed" for them. The same can be applied here, maybe there will be a rule that will just count as a songwriter the Top 5 or something like that, there are songs that have more than 10 writers credited on it.

How many spots are there? Are there even 100 different songwriters charting on the hot 100 and bubbling under?

this tie thing look like a mess, it would be fun if they divide the points according to the contribution among writers, but it will be hard to acquire such data from lablels i guess

Obviously since every song on the Hot 100 is written by different people.

Anyway imagine the no. 1 to no 10 being a tie when a pop girl like Ariana releases

this seems weird and messy (and looks like a ✨stan list) but we shall see how it turns out
