Fall In line by Xtina hit #1 itunes yet couldn't debut on Hot 100. Well, Ciara will debut thanks to streaming but the point is even an unknown act can hit Top 10 itunes nowadays

This arguement doesn’t work. Topping iTunes is equally as hard as it was before and now, why? Well, if sales are dead it just means less people buy song - this effects every artist.

Not really. More stans can easily send songs to the top now. Even Nicki’s “Rich Sex” topped it.

Yes, but if the audience that buys singles is decreasing - shouldn’t the amount of stans that buy the single naturally decrese too?
