Does anyone else think that something's a bit fishy about this song's pop radio run?  It's been in the Top 50 of the US pop radio chart for over 200 days now, and in that time it has NEVER entered the Top 100 of iTunes, its music video has 16 million views on YouTube despite coming out over a year ago, and it's currently outside the Top 200 of US Spotify (and only ever peaked at #103). Either its callouts must be fantastic for radio to be ignoring both its terrible sales AND its terrible streaming, or something weird is going on behind-the-scenes

I asked about this some days ago. Definitely something is up bts  It's not top200 on any country on Spotify and it's charting just on iTunes US due to the big radio support

Where was y'all when I pointed out it outpeaked Bodak Yellow, a #1 hit on Pop Radio. 

 

Nothing fishy though, his career is just being pushed by iHeartRadio. They're always trying to break new artists.

He wouldn't have any money or industry contacts to get radio play unethically.

I think that iHeartradio thing that pushes new artists never make them this high unless they get great reception, which isn't the case.

Maybe people like the song on radio but nobody buys it or streams it lol

Lights Down Low is bland and inoffensive, pop radio listeners tend to like that sound (although I can't see it going much higher)
