Preorders effect, mostly. The song had green updates almost all week long, went back at #1 and had a very decent lead. It's the only reason I can think of.

US itunes is usually slow but lately theres been lots of movement in the top 10. Top spot has switched up a lot. So much more interesting when theres no runaway winner like Despacito. Or even Shape of you just to prove Im not bias.

it's a bit boring when you see the actual sales numbers tho, even if it's rotating lowness.

 

despacito merited its eternal run given how it kept pushing 100k while everyone else failed to.
