The point is if she managed to Smash with that song, that speaks volumes about her power over her audience and radio.

You're missing my point. I'm essentially making the "x" artist can fart on a record and sell analogy, she hasn't proven this to be the case. In an alternate reality where Bad Liar is still No.2 on the charts, yes I would expect her album do around 400k SPS. That is not the reality we're living in though. 

And I don't think the sound is comparable to fart, just the further thing from lead single material that any of the girls have released in a long while.

It's different for her standard but in the end it's still a bubblegum pop with a catchy hook.
