actually it's not that pop girls aren't releasing quality. Do you really think the boys are releasing quality lmao? Why do women have to work 10X harder then men to have success? Bieber literally phonetically sounded his way out through a Spanish song that he has no idea what the lyrics are too and he's #1 by a significant amount... 

 

Ed Sheeran released a Cheap Thrills/Scrubs knock off and was #1 for over 10 weeks. 

 

That DJ Khaled song is extremely mediocre. Like I like urban music but that song is so mediocre but it is a huge hit lol. 

 

and look at all these men country singers doing so well on itunes. Female country singers are undoubtedly better then men but they struggle so much to even get recognition. 

 

I do agree that Camila and Selena's snogs weren't good but that's not the reason there are barely any women on billboard or on itunes. 

 

Women are expected to have way higher quality than men lmao. The quality of music in general is mediocre but men gets away with it/
