yes tf it does. If guys can easily chart in the Billboard top 10 without a hint of quality, women shouldn't have to go through a more rigorous evaluation concerning the quality of their songs. Quality is irrelevant when the H100 has no indication of it.

Im sure its to do with the type of music they're making and the impact of streaming.

It isn't "now," and Bruno is under the R&B umbrella, clearly. His whole career is based around soul/R&B/funk. Y'all do anything for someone not to be influenced by black artists.

But nobody considers Bruno urban, even when Bruno is referred to as R&B ATRL gets mad. I am more than happy that Bruno is finally going full R&B and his album is classified as R&B. I just find funny that Bieber is seen as urban when his biggest success came when he started doing tropical edm with white djs and not because of doing R&B influenced records which other white artists were doing it too.

Well you shouldn't let your vendetta towards ATRL opinions blind you. Just because Justin reached super-superstar status with the trop-pop trend doesn't negate what he's predominately influenced by. He was still just as popular with the info I previously provided on where his albums leaned. Even Sorry made T40 on urban airplay chart, since it had rhythmic influences of urban umbrella genres. But nobody is saying he's "seen" as urban. It's just dumb to negate his background over some white/black mess.

When Bieber gets a top 10 solo hit on Urban radio without being featured with rappers and hip hop artists, then we can have this discussion about his credibility in the Urban community. Before purpose he was doing dance-pop with some R&B flavor featuring rappers which everybody was doing at the time, and Journals is a forgotten album that even his team doesn't acclaim and no one remembers it other than his die hard fans.

Nobody is denying the influence but it's offensive to that genre to call this pop infused music urban.

You are literally a Mariah Carey stan. She can't make an interesting song to save her life.

Yikes @ the dark red update. Don't fail us, Miley! :heart2:

Yes, I'm a Mariah stan, she has a flawless diverse discography and even when she released a bad song that doesn't mean I can't critisize it. This song is trash, Miley failed us.

I honestly don't care if any female song is good or not. If it can crack the top 10, I'm all here for it. Quality is out of the question when the majority of the top 10 is garbage. It's the least of our concerns considering what's charting right now.

What kind of **** logic.... The top 10 right now is mostly great, stay pressed because female artists make terrible music nowadays.
