France, Spain and Italy (Germany to some extent) have always been more receptive to spanish songs, perhaps because of the language familiarity.

The song is atrocious, either way. I'm ashamed that particular song is representing us, latinos, around the world :rip:

OK so that's your real problem. So thats why you have been mad at this single. I thought you were jealous or something like that. But I was wrong

Btw I can understand your feelings.?

#justiceforbetterlatinosingles??

Btw I am not joking.?

It's not that deep :skull:

OT: Despecito reminds me of Enrique's Bailando.

That's a shame. It's the first good single she's realeased since TEOG so I'm disappointed to see it flopping this badly. :doc:

the sales are so low that it doesn't take much to get to the top.

easy enough that some major releases can't even reach no 1 despite massive promos :fan:

Decpacito coming to snatch again! on 95% (Combined it number 1 by far anyway)

PI actually went 7-25-44 after the Hot Tracks + banner removal, so TC is doing much better. It just happens that TC lost them in its 6th day.

For how long has CTTR being discounted?

they should remove the discountand move on to the second single

5 weeks in a row and counting. I agree, I'm not sure why she hasn't released a second single yet.

Over on radio as well.

And you are forgetting that this one has no radio deal even.

Positions are the last thing to be compared because it depends on the other songs around it. I remember PI getting 5 percents drops even. And she got dark red updates for full 5 days. Kinda a record in falling... The Cure is doing much better in that sense.

I think it will be 5 weeks THIS friday. Single 2 is coming either this friday or May 5 so discount will be gone once it completes 5 -or 6 at the most- weeks

Why is your fanbase so concerned about a certain song getting #1 or not tho

I have NEVER mentioned that. Obviously I know that CTTR went against a much stronger song like Shape of you. So it couldn't reach 1. Just the same way as applause not going 1 against Roar or Sorry not going 1 while Hello was on top.

And now that there is not strong song on iTunes, Katy s next single will definitely go 1.

lmao at Katy having an Applause/DWUW situation.

Well its very corny and mediocre. I save the word atrocious for really bad songs like the Zayn/Taylor one.

The songs that have 9M-11M AI right now are all in the 30-50 range, but there are songs with 15M+ that aren't even in the top 100 so.

I see so it all depends on the song.

found out that  Thats what I like was #90 with 11M audience. Reached top 20 on iTunes when it had 43M audience and now its #1 with 90m audience.

just wanted to know so I can give the gaga fans in the cure thread complaining about its iTunes position some perspective
