Yeah I think it will. But we'll see I think the sales + radio are keeping Bruno still in the game for the top spot not only in case of "That's What I Like" but also with "24K Magic" and an album itself.

Gaga - Zedd/Alessia (???) - Shawn - Bieber - Bruno in like 5 days.

 

i would argue the opposite.

the sales are so low that it doesn't take much to get to the top.

Low sales doesnt mean theres no competition. Look at how many fought to be #1 just this week.

i mean, how exciting is, say, a tennis match between the #100 and #101 ranked players in the world, for example? they're close, but not in an impressive way.

Not bad for a unpromoted Spanish single, certain acts (some are atrler's faves)  can't get a hit out side of their home country (some of them couldnt get in past until they changed thier genre) because their music genre  is kind of local (even its in English though)

 

Justin smashing with Latin music shows that how powerful he is ,he has proved that "music has no language"

I listened to Despacito several times but cant get into it. Maybe its too latino specific for my taste. Its interesting how mixed its performance is globally. Its not doing much in UK/IRE/AUS/NZ at all(barely even top40). Then in other big Euro countries(FRA/GER/ITA/NETH) the original version is doing much better than the Bieber version.

France, Spain and Italy (Germany to some extent) have always been more receptive to spanish songs, perhaps because of the language familiarity.

 

The song is atrocious, either way. I'm ashamed that particular song is representing us, latinos, around the world
