LOL! That was SO FAST! He's really a force in the US, I love him... the song is OK, I was expecting more I must say and it's super short. But happy for him!

This is so going Top 10 at least. It's already #42 with no promo or music video from a debut artist :jonny:

It's really good! I like it.

I don't know if it's had any type of exposure, but it's doing great so far.

Selena Gomez posted about it on social media a couple days ago, which is actually how "Call Me Maybe" got started 5 years ago.

I agree, half of his debut album is better but it's still pretty good

Yap and over 64% already, next jump is number 1 for sure, I wish it was a bit stronger.

Issues has a slight Gold vibe to it. I could see it performing similarly.

I think Sam is ~ the 3rd most powerful overall country seller right now after Luke and Chris. Maybe Zac.

I think it will do significantly better. It's already showing a lot more potential on ODS.

Okay. Here's an update on the sales for Can't Stop This Feeling vs. Closer.

At the end of 2016, CSTF had 2.495 M, while Closer had 2.268 M, giving a difference of 227k.

Closer has narrowed the gap, but CSTF is still in the lead. Now CSTF is 2.596 M, while Closer is 2.457 M. Now the difference between the songs is 139k.

At this rate, Closer should pull ahead by the end of March (end of BBMA tracking period), which is needed to win HDS SOTY at the BBMAs. However, with Closer slowing down (and in need of a Grammy boost), it may take a little longer. Feeling could get a Grammy boost too, but I think Closer gets the bigger one. I think the same is true for the IHeart Radio Awards and the BBMAs. Closer will get a 2017 YE boost too, and CSTF will only get a small one, if at all.

Closer will do better at IHeart, but the race for BBMA H 100 SOTY could be tight, as Feeling has a 12 week head start over Closer, and CSTF looks like it could stay on the Hot 100 through the end of March. CSTF also spent almost all, if not all, of those first 12 weeks in the T 5.

Are The Chainsmokers performing at Grammy awards? If not, I don't see how they could get any boost that night.

1. ZAYN & Taylor Swift - I Don’t Wanna Live Forever 1.0000 1.0000

2. Sam Hunt - Body Like a Back Road 0.9921 0.6394

3. Ed Sheeran - Shape of You 0.9475 0.9307

They are nominated for two awards. CSTF has nominations too though. Closer is newer though, which is why I think it gets the bigger boost.

If they earn the Best New Artist award, they'll get the boost.

If not, it'll be a small boost.

"Believer" with dark green update + small gap between 11 and 12. Hopefully they'll be  Top 10 eventually.

1. Sam Hunt - Body like a Back Road

11. Imagine Dragons - Believer

What is Capitol doing? They could have released that on Friday and got a full week. :rip:

I'm very pleasantly surprised that Imagine Dragons still has such a prominent fanbase considering they haven't had a big hit since Demons

The song sucks, anyway. :ace: Their last good song were Shots.

Breakthrough artist of 2017

She reminds me of Rachel Platten.

Wasn't Don't Wanna Know released on a wednesday???

I would say Work but Rihanna always does weird release days so she doesn't count
