Well extremely close to Top 10 is still pretty good when the band effectively disappeared after 2013  (With the exception of Sucker For Pain, but I don't really count that since I doubt too many people paid attention to who sang the chorus on that song)

 

Not saying the fanbase is massive, just bigger than I expected. I haven't seen a single article or social media post about the song, so I would have figured it wouldn't even get into the Top 20  

Actually Imagine Dragons aren't even under Hot Songs, so yeah #11 is very good imo

according to HDD, he will likely perform at the Grammys as well (which makes sense since he's the frontrunner for Best Song Written for Visual Media + Grammys air the night before the voting for Oscars begins)

I didn't know about the Oscars, but Closer will still likely pull ahead in sales before 2017 ends.

Yeah. I'm wondering why he released his song on Wednesday as well. Friday for a comeback hit from a major artist makes much more sense. No Country artist bigger than him was going to come out with a new song this week. Hunt would've blown any other stars' releases away.
