Ed is not really known for his singles' sales. In the x era, only "Thinking Out Loud" was a strong seller. "Sing" and "Don't" did pretty mediocre. Now he has "Shape Of You" which is HUGE, but other than that he hasn't really excelled in the singles department.

 

Moreover, people rather buy his album, which is the whole body of work.

still, even Beyonce and Adele managed to scrape some of the tracks to Top 10 and they arent singles artists as well
