Those days are gone baby, in the streaming era almost everything is niche, the most popular girl will be a nobody to A LOT OF PEOPLE. People choose what to listen to, when years ago the mass was kinda forced to listen to a few selected artists on the radio and on tv, and that's why everyone and their cousins knew their names.

I love KAROL but if you need to prove her success by comparing her numbers in less than 10 years into her debut album with a woman who's been in the industry for 30 years, and the numbers are not even that different...it's not going to look good for her.

I was at the listening party in Brasil last night and I loved the album from start to finish. Def their best since TOD. And yes...Forever Without You is THAT ONE. The vocals? The extension? Incredible. (the piano at the beginning reminded of Alive by Sia and Stone Cold by Demi). Rapture was another stand out sonically.

idk I feel like they are made to feel very nostalgic...it works for me just the way it is. But I get it.
