  1. I really wanted this to sound more like an instant hit, but it sounds like something fans will see as a fun song, but it's not going to crossover to more people than that. Flowers was a phenom that was accessible to a ton of people for better or worse, but this feels like one that will come and go.
  2. The album is mid, but at least that song is really good and she can sing. The whole aesthetic feels like an inauthentic Amy Winehouse / Duffy / Raye / Adele rip-off. I'd honestly take her over Stella Lefty any day.
  3. I really think she might miss a nom on this one.
  4. I'd rather Choosin Texas than Boston getting a week. To think Man I Need, So Easy, Dracula, Be Her, Risk It All, The Cure, Stupid Song, Midnight Sun, Stateside, Loser, Oh Yeah?, Earrings, Risk It All and TWO Morgan Wallen songs all failed to get number 1 this summer but BOSTON does... gross.
  5. I know I'm the first to call out the ties to MAGA for Ella, but really she's up there with Billie and Olivia as the clear and runaway frontrunner for this. She's had one of the biggest breakthrough years in a while. I know we don't want to admit it, but she's massive and isn't going anywhere. The Grammys love to predict big stars with longterm potential and Sienna Spiro just isn't that... Geese might be the alt pick.
  6. I'm not even really a fan of this group, but you can very much see who the Nicole Scherzinger is... Lara Raj is going to be the only one to come out of this with a career in a couple of years. You can tell it's her goal, it's almost uncomfortable to watch her push for the spotlight so heavily in a group.
  7. We need Loser and Oh, Yeah? to take off more. The Top 10 overall needs an overhaul, it's so so stale.
  8. It's not a bad album, but it is a forgettable album. This is lower level Ari. It might be personal for her, but it's just not a fun listen. I was hopeful with HTIMYLM, but it's really the highlight of the album.
  9. This is going to be a solid hype single for the EU tour.
  10. Choosin' Texas is really coming to be one of the longest running Hot 100 number 1s this summer. It won't slow down.
  11. This song is refreshing and feels right for spring. It's a grower which is a good thing nowadays when things get old very quickly usually. It sounds nothing like Taylor, but Taylor should move her productions to be more full like this. It doesn't sound like a generic radio track, but it's still catchy. Just enjoy it.
  12. Choosin' Texas will have another bump next week then Be Her will continue to grow to replace it. Olivia Rodrigo will have a week, maybe more if the song is good, but Choosin' Texas will come back to number 1 before Be Her.
  13. I feel this is to set the tone of the album and I'm here for it. She's coming back with Pageant Material style lyrics with a country twang but still very Kacey of now.
  14. The reviews aren't what I was hoping for, that there are hints of change, but ultimately a collage of cool musical influences that are ultimately not overly well written or able to stand apart from the references. I'm sure it'll be fun regardless upon a few listens, but it sounds like it'll be forgettable over time.
  15. It feels like the duet version could make an impact in the US, but so far not so much.
  16. Excited for Stateside to break the top 20 this week (maybe even 15) and then in the top ten or five next week! I think it'll peak in the top 3.
  17. If she REALLY wanted to, she'd release the video for TLOAS the week of Coachella and join Sabrina on stage that weekend.
  18. It'll only be a local 12am release if it's a Friday. She'll drop it everywhere sometime later today.
  19. I can see this. It doesn't make sense that she wouldn't switch it out though, even pushing a week.
  20. Justice for being blocked by Gaga and Bruno last year!
  21. If 14M people watching the Grammys caused this bump... the Super Bowl is going to be huge for him.
  22. Do those 6M streams count from the video watch? That feels like not a lot, likely about 5M were the video, as it was around 1M or less, that's really low compared to the golden days of video premieres.
  23. She should have waited a week or two DtMF is going to be massive all week. It's such a joyous song and great for Super Bowl hype. Also people are only just now discovering it outside of his fanbase.
  24. Yay Olivia! I'm still skeptical, but really today was the last day and Man I Need grew all week, I don't expect a big fall off tomorrow. DtMF is DEFINITELY number 1 next week.
  25. Oop Choosin' Texas back on top of iTunes. MAGA be doing their thing!
