YESSS! Ava is so back on track with this one!!! This totally brings back the energy and attitude of her early songs, especially in the music video. That fierce confidence? I've missed it! Her recent releases didn't quite have this spark. Also, is it me or does the "I give myself butterflies…" part sounds like it samples something? It's familiar but I can't place it.

It's definitely my favourite of hers.

She finally made it.

It's been stuck in my head for about 2 weeks now, so I couldn't be any happier for her.

I'm not really into jazz music. Honestly, it makes me feel like Eleanor Shellstrop from The Good Place when she said, "Ugh, I hate jazz. Every jazz song is like 40 minutes long. It's like, we get it. You can blow on a trumpet." That being said, I can appreciate that it's a solid album for its audience: incredible vocals, well-crafted lyrics, fantastic energy, and impeccable production. I imagine for a jazz fan, it's probably an absolute eargasm.

I've just discovered this song thanks to Apple Music and I can't get it out of my head. Wow!
