If she thinks the entire conflict evolves around Hamas and Gaza, she should be educated. What future is she talking about when Palestinians in the West Bank are subjected to decade-long military occupation and oppression as well as threats of annexation amidst expansion of INTERNATIONALLY ILLEGALLY settlements and daily killings and arrests and checkpoints? Israel IS the problem here and if you need to fine a REAL solution, let Israel abide to a treaty, not the Palestinians.

I'm not claiming that because it is true. I precisely said her RECENT recognition is thanks to her man. She's not all successful nowadays to be receiving prestigious awards and be named Billboard's Woman of the Year for example. If anything, she's had almost the same success and glory as Paulina, so why isn't Paulina getting invited to ANY of the award shows lately? You can easily tell something's going on behind the scenes.

When someone like Gaga has built such a strong public identity around human rights and using their voice for people who are vulnerable, their silence on the suffering of Palestinians is difficult to reconcile with those values. And while her silence alone doesn't prove that she is a Zionist, it inevitably raises questions about where she stands when those principles are tested. If you consistently advocate for freedom and human rights, but remain silent when Palestinians are being subjected to immense suffering, people are going to question whether those values truly extend to everyone. This isn't about asking her to take a political side for the sake of it. It's about recognizing Palestinian humanity and acknowledging that their lives, safety, freedom, and dignity matter too. I wish she would use the platform she has to speak up for that.

Thankfully not everyone is obsessed with celebrities to be so blind on such a thing. I didn't say, nor will I ever do, that a statement from Gaga will free Palestine, absolutely not. But, like you said, it's HER moral duty to say something. She has spent so much of her career speaking about human rights, equality, compassion, and the freedom to be who you are. Those values feel especially meaningful when innocent people like the Palestinians are suffering and being denied their basic rights.

There are a few things Gaga should FINALLY get called out about. For example, her deliberately choosing to be silent on Palestine/Gaza. This woman is selective af. It's either ignorance or pure evil. I'd go with the last because I highly anyone with little basic knowledge hardly knows anything about Gaza nowadays.

I completely understand why 9/11 is painful to remember, and I don't want to diminish the innocent lives that were lost that day. I just also think it's important to remember that the response to 9/11 went on to cost hundreds of thousands of innocent lives across the Middle East and surrounding regions. Brown University's Costs of War project estimates that more than 432,000 civilians were killed directly in post-9/11 wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen and Pakistan. To me, remembering those lives doesn't take anything away from the people who died on 9/11. If anything, it means trying to hold innocent human life to the same value wherever it was lost.
