I want them to re-sign and just release more music. A 2 year wait is fine but not for 8 songs. If they released an album every other year with 10+ songs and 2 solo/sub-unit EPs (as in 4 songs, YG) in-between I'd be content. We'd get more to consume while the girls still wouldn't overworked music-wise and can peruse their other passions. Shorten tours too if it's too stress inducing for the girls. That's my perfect outcome tbh.
