  1. I never specifically mentioned anything about very young kids but obviously there will be nuance. However, you're trying to turn this into an argument about young kids playing recreationally when we both know that that is certainly not the main focus or discussion when people talk about trans women in female sports so let's stop playing dumb. As for Lia Thomas he clearly had a physical advantage. Anyone with two eyes and a brain knew that. If you don't think he had an advantage then you were either missing the two eyes or the brain.
  2. I agree with this but you know people only operate on emotions these days instead of logic. That's why the democratic party is in the position it's in. Full of extremely passionate people who don't believe in nuance or logic
  3. No, it does not suggest that trans women competing within sports is unfair. The argument is that trans women competing in FEMALE SPORTS is unfair. There is a difference and you can do way better than using a straw-man by arguing a point that is not being made. Nobody, including myself, is advocating for all trans people to be erased from sports, so I don't know what "further right stances" you're talking about. All everyone wants is fairness and for trans women to compete in sporting events where they do not have an unfair advantage. That's fair and simple common sense.
  4. If that's how you interpret it then that's on you not me. The thought never even entered my mind.
  5. How do I know? They've said so many times. There have been suggestions by many people for a separate category and it has always been frowned upon by the trans community.
  6. The trans community does not want a new category. They are set on competing as the gender they identify with, even though sport is separated by sex not gender.
  7. Saying that tran women should not be allowed in female sport is not transphobic. It is common sense. Also, saying the issue does not exist is simply saying it doesn't exist for YOU that doesn't mean it isn't an issue for somebody else, namely the athletes who have to compete with trans women. They may just be a small amount of trans women in female sport at this point but dismissing the issue will create problems further along the lines when 5 or 10 years from now the number grows and more female athletes are affected.
  8. That's basically what he's saying. He saying because it's only him and the guitar it would be obvious, implying that he would do it if he performed like other pop stars do
  9. Ok, no denying that, but performing on stage and performing in music videos are two different things. Being a good dancer does not automatically make you a better performer than someone who might not be as good a dancer. For example, even though Beyonce is a good dancer she might not be able to perform the kind of moves that Tate can perform but that doesn't mean that Tate is a better performer than her. To me, Zara is much more confident and natural on stage and interacts with the crowd much better than Tate.
  10. Being a good performer involves more than just being able to dance.
  11. Some people may have negative opinions on Zara's music but you cannot deny that she is a superb performer and singer. Tate can dance and do a lot of acrobatic moves but being a good performer involves more than that. Zara is a way better performer overall and there is no way Tate can out-sing her.
  12. Are you guys really going to take anything she says seriously?
  13. Celebrities need to grow some balls and really say what they mean, because what he wrote makes no sense. It is obvious he doesn't believe in what the people are protesting about and is a Trump supporter, so he should just say that and stop being a coward, because he sounds dumb.
  14. Who is the other Camila? I only know of Camila Cabello
  15. Wow! This girl can't sing at all.
  16. She interacts with fans and her music is better.
  17. For what reason would anyone want to go there?
  18. Why should Beyonce have to do all the stuff you want her to just for you to listen to her music? If you're listening because you genuinely like her music then why is all that important?
  19. So you're saying it's a waste of time to vote then?
  20. So if she can book both the BET awards and the VMAs, which are huge award shows, why hasn't she booked much smaller shows or events where she can perform her songs? Why is it a whole month and she hasn't perform not one song from her album but would perform on the VMAs and then disappear afterwards? Obviously no one is preventing her from performing her music and she doesn't have difficulty in booking stages if she can perform at the VMAs, so why hasn't she performed yet? That's what I'll like to know.
  21. If this is true then it means there was literally nothing stopping her from performing any of her songs anywhere else. The fact that she would perform at the VMAs but wouldn't even think to upload a single video of her singing or performing any of her songs should tell fans everything they need to know.
  22. In other words you don't care about her making disgusting racist statements and that's probably because you aren't black. If you don't care that's expected because you weren't the target, but don't insult actual black people and dismiss our feelings about racism targeting us.
  23. She wasn't 13, she was 15, and she was exposed when she was 22. At 15 you're old enough to know better. There were also multiple memes (not just one racist meme she posted that one time) and there were extremely racist. She seemed to have an issue with black people because she was constantly reblogging racist memes. Maybe if it was just one meme and it wasn't so disgusting I would maybe say she's just being an ignorant kid but those memes were disgusting and she posted multiple memes. Yes, she apologized but what else was she going to do after being exposed? Ignore it? Also why did she wait until she was exposed to take down the page? If I wrote something that was racist and I grew up and knew better I would go and delete my racist posts or delete the entire page (since there were so many posts). It wasn't even that long ago that she wrote that stuff from the time she got exposed.
  24. Not trying to be mean but the truth is that she's doing is walking across the stage. She's not singing and barely dancing. This performance wasn't good
