Jay Z exposed by Nessa Diab & betrays Colin Kaepernick

Featured Replies

Jay-Z's partnership with the NFL and subsequent comments about Colin Kaepernick have been a source of controversy and debate. Some view it as a betrayal of Kaepernick's protest against racial injustice, while others see it as a strategic move to influence change from within the league. Kaepernick's partner, Nessa Diab, has publicly accused Jay-Z and Roc Nation of using "smear tactics" against Kaepernick and even alleges they suppressed his protest for financial gain.

Quote

Roc Nation apparently took $5 million a year over 5 years to bury the growing protest, AND specifically help them "move beyond the controversy around teams' unwillingness to sign Kaepernick." Desiree even said "We love that everybody wants to be on the stage, that we've completely changed the conversation to fighting for it versus boycotting. We've come a long way.' She got her pardon by Trump - no coincidence the NFL owners are his buddies and also donated millions to his campaign.

Quote

"I saw it happen to Colin," she said. "I called it out years ago. He knew exactly what it would do. I was there. I heard the conversation. In her view, the deal helped repair the NFL's public image while ignoring the man who started the conversation.

Nessa Diab criticizes Jay-Z's NFL deal and calls out narrative control around Colin Kaepernick: A big part of what Nessa Diab spoke about was Jay-Z's 2019 deal with the NFL through the "Inspire Change" program. Diab said this partnership happened without including or consulting Kaepernick beforehand. She claimed Jay-Z knew what it meant on a larger scale and argued the deal helped fix the NFL's image while pushing aside the player who first brought attention to these issues.Diab also rejected the repeated claims that Kaepernick turned down chances to rejoin the NFL. She explained that no real offers were ever given and blamed unnamed individuals for spreading untrue stories about Kaepernick not wanting to return or asking for high contracts. On July 16, Diab added more comments on X. She accused Roc Nation, Jay-Z, and Perez of running a years-long effort to change how people view Kaepernick's absence from the NFL. Nessa Diab claimed that Roc Nation got yearly payments to shift attention from claims about blackballing. She also mentioned Perez's presidential pardon in 2021, hinting at stronger ties between the agency, the NFL, and political groups.

He can give the money back to the Black neighborhoods he helped deteriorate in the 90s + allocate more money to the public schools he's currently assisting in defunding. Justice for Nessa and Colin. Condemnation forever to the NFL.

Jay is an incredibly shady character (to say the least) and def. has a history. But it's always going to sound unhinged and unreliable when it comes from Nicki. Not just with Jay but with anything. And that's on her. She has no one to blame but herself. :cm:

Ok and?

Notice how it's always the crazies, jobless and people with failed careers that go after Jay.

If he's really guilty then sue him. None of these "claims" have been substantiated.

Jealousy is truly a disease. NEXT.

This is what Donald Trump supporters say about his critics. I guess we're all jealous of the orange abomination 😝

Nicki aside, it's always been shady how the NFL has neglected Kaepernick and the actual very early bravery he demonstrated and subsequently suffered from, for the NFL to then pivot towards empowering black artists despite not honoring the demonstration Colin risked his career for.

Trump has been taken to court and convicted.

All Jay has is unsubstantiated claims from well known delusional people like Jaguar Wright.

Let's not get into supporters of shady people - you literally stan Nicki Minaj

Can we all get real please. Why would Jay start a smear campaign against Colin and then have Beyonce praise and present an award

I really love seeing people out here defending the man who was unfaithful to his multi-talented, naturally gorgeous wife who also birthed her equally beautiful, skilled children. The man who said the word 'capitalist' is a slur and refuses to financially help out family.

Anyone who's followed this man's life knows his guilty of a lot of things he's being accused of. You guys just blindly defend him for obvious reasons. I wonder if you guys also give Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg a pass.

I also need to clarify that I stan for ONE person and it's not Nicki...not that this is important or relevant to the discussion at hand 😝

Edit: your question in your double post comes off as being very gullible. Have you not heard of damage control?

I do not stan Jay Z nor do I listen to his music. However it's disturbing how atrl continues to attack him and his family based on unproven claims.

Everyone claims Jay and Bey somehow control the whole industry yet they were arguably the most attacked celebs of the past year. You'd think a man powerful enough to run multiple 24/7 smear campaigns wouldn't be subject to a smear campaign himself.

Just because you have power and control doesn't mean you have the ability to influence the opinions of the masses. Not especially if you're a celebrity artist. That's not how this works and I think you're aware of this.

I must say, I do wonder if you consider accusations against Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg to be baseless accusations coming from all the jealous haters...

Also, I remember Kaepernick got mad at Jay Z for saying we have to move forward from protesting when Kaepernick himself was still actively trying to get back into the NFL. Make it make sense.

I stand with Jay Z. He has been nothing but kind and supportive throughout the years and have supported and lifted other artists up.

i'm fine with accepting into my life and world view that Jay Z is a shady character. i don't think he's the boogeyman people paint him out to be, but would believe he's done plenty in his life to protect rich friends and the interests of Roc Nation at the expense of others. i wonder tho how much people on the opposite end of the spectrum are willing to admit that people speaking out against him are often a) exaggerating their claims against him b) are bad people/opportunists themselves. because i notice people tend to think it's noble to drag JayZ thru the mud but are not as often willing to examine the people/pop stars they pledge alliance to.

I just can't take it at face value when she waited until Nicki started coke ranting and being delusional to bring any of this up

Jay is not a supervillain.  I think he's done terrible things, but nothing the way this website wants to believe.

Y'all don't know anything about this man other than he's married to Bey, and you guys want her to go down by proxy.

tuh…. it's not even worth waking this up cuz ppl would just deflect or lie about it but a good 90% of the Jay Z vitriol on this site is fueled by racism/hatred of Beyoncé
