I don't understand all this "thank God Israel didn't win". Israel is THE winner. Next year there will be no new countries dropping out, because this year showed us that everybody besides them is irrelevant. You wanna boycott? Fine, we will get back other countries and give them high placement to reignite interest and compensate lost viewership. Dara seems like a nice girl and a performance is top notch, but lets be real here any other year she would get minimal points from jury. Also Israel getting a trophy wouldn't go in their favor, because it would anger people to much. This way competition is back on and message is clear, Israel is here to stay

Because of this concert, sadly, I find it hard to look at some people I considered friends the same way.
