I am just not optimistic about this competition atmI would agree that it was smart decision (for a country that up until recently didn't have money to compete) to book Fredrik Rydman. Performance did a heavy lifting.I don't understand all this "thank God Israel didn't win". Israel is THE winner. Next year there will be no new countries dropping out, because this year showed us that everybody besides them is irrelevant. You wanna boycott? Fine, we will get back other countries and give them high placement to reignite interest and compensate lost viewership. Dara seems like a nice girl and a performance is top notch, but lets be real here any other year she would get minimal points from jury. Also Israel getting a trophy wouldn't go in their favor, because it would anger people to much. Should everything Serbs say be ignored? He is definitely notBecause of this concert, sadly, I find it hard to look at some people I considered friends the same way. What annoys me the most in all of this isn't even those idiots who proudly and openly parade around with Nazi salutes and symbols. What bothers me more are people that persistently trie, through mental gymnastics and lies, to portray fascism as harmless patriotism, love for tradition, faith etc. The relationship of the Catholic Church with all of this could be a topic in itself, but in short—disgusting and against its own teachings. I can't wait to leave this dump. I also have to add, for those who aren't familiar: Thompson, besides being a complete idiot, a liar, and a redneck Ustaša, is also painfully untalented.
