I've been a bit out of kpop this year for no real reason, but there have been gems! tripleS + ARTMS + Yves + Loossemble + aespa really served with their full projects (Yves especially - Loop is a SOTY contender for me) NMIXX and ITZY pleasant surprises - I was just about ready to give up on the latter for good. IVE let me down slightly with their title, but Blue Heart is kinda their best song yet. Similarly TWICE dropped the ball with their title again, but at least the album was good overall! NewJeans delivered with their singles, and hopefully all the company mess doesn't get in the way of future releases. Same story with Chungha - really hoping she can regain momentum. BoA's Emptiness was a really interesting musical choice and another highlight of the year for me. hate to give her ass any credit atm, but Hyuna released her best project ever this year as for misses, I was really disappointed with IU's mini and Wendy's comeback title. Both just kinda blah which is a weird thing for me to feel about either of them. LSRFM also mega disappointing because i straight up don't remember what anything on that mini sounds like - that's so unlike their other work to me.

tbh a slow day here and there doesn't matter in the big picture - we can't panic when it happens
