At this rate either Nadia will have to leak them herself or they're gonna be relegated to something like Tubi just to maximize exposure to recoup the costs

II LEAST WANTED is doing fewer daily streams than certain second singles from 2020 btw if we wanna put this era's mismanagement into perspective

Beyoncé
for someone who loves to call everyone else slow, they sure did miss out on you being a longtime contributor to the thread and your multiple times seeing her (including transatlantic trips lmao). even in places they wouldn't be able to see, you praise her when it's deserved + she's come up in our verbal conversations before. but no, we cant call ourselves fans if we're not 150% positive about her every single career decision let me go do a cécred enema to repent since I have critiques on how she's handling this album

part of my prayers answered, now we just need the title to serve MATURITY none of that Teddy Bear/Bubble **** (even if I do enjoy the latter) the trailer from the other day gives me hope because it would be so weird for that dramatic vibe to be used to promote something juvenile- The HQ Thread | 2023-2024
it's extra annoying because they used to just close regularly without the forced refresh- Tinashe - "Nasty"
the jump in the US im gonna need Nice Life to get those old old Atlantic connections going again - radio helped Lizzo and that extra boost is what we need to take this to the next level- cupcakKe announces her new album is dropping this month
been perched for this since she teased it actually happening when I saw her late last year- Beyoncé
AS charted for just one week less than IIMW while only the latter was actually released as a single (contrary to other posts - it got a unique visualizer, individual single on AM even after the album drop, and a month-late radio push), so you made some points she hamstrings herself to fulfill her little flop indie fantasy and it got old a decade ago- Has Taylor Written a Better Song than Butterfly Net?
no, but she's also not the same kind of songwriter as Caroline (or Natalie but she's just a feature here) it's difficult to really compare tbh- Beyoncé
the second single - which debuted in the top 10 - has already been off the charts for several weeks and the album isn't even 3 months old. At the rate Texas is declining, we'll be lucky to scrape 20 weeks on the charts which is ridiculous for how strong it was the first several weeks. whatever potential hits the album has is irrelevant if her team wont do the bare minimum to help them happen the general consensus in here on the album is that it's a fantastic album! she's just abandoned it like a baby in one of those fire station emergency boxes and that's frustrating to see- Beyoncé
- Tinashe - "Nasty"
top 100 on Spotify and AM, Janet interpolating her on tour this is such a MOMENT for her- Beyoncé
just know I'm ready to lash her with Nasty the second it outlasts II LEAST PROMOTED and jumps ahead of TEXAS DROP EM on the Hot 100- Beyoncé
plucked straight from @Mitsouko's nightmares- K-Pop Thread: The Year 2024
Good Luck Tae is coming- Tinashe on RCA Records after 'Nasty' success: "I know they're gagging"
some of you are being so dense - it's already outdoing every RCA song she ever dropped after 2 On (All My Friends isn't hers and didn't take off in the US) + it's continuing to grow. that's WITHOUT all the misguided meddling from a big label that she suffered while signed to them. it must feel absolutely vindicating to get this kind of hit with material you can totally stand behind and only a tiny fraction of the resources.- Are You Hyped For C, XoXo?
only if she took music lessons along with her racial sensitivity classes- Tinashe - "Nasty"
My hope is that radio picks up some steam now that there's tangible evidence for them via streaming playlists and charting obviously label politics still come into play, but maybe seeing the demand (plus requests) can push the needle- Beyoncé
as a hybrid Hive/SweeTee, I've been enjoying seeing the one who's continued to hustle her ass off despite tanking for a decade 1) finally get some recognition and 2) capitalize on the moment really puts how complacent the bigger artists can get into perspective Like yes, Bey has already been through that period of nonstop grinding, but there are ways she/her team can support her music without any effort on her part. My flop faves remind me that quality and drive aren't enough - sometimes you just need that little extra bit of luck to push through. - K-Pop Thread: The Year 2024
