  1. Deserved for that weird **** she did with the album cover and how rushed the lyrics were. And for including that flop song Never Getting PLAYED. The songs should've been looked over at and had their lyrics adjusted before it came out. Hopefully next album cycle she puts out a work worthy of listening to. I do have hope that this will teach her a lesson but eh. Who knows. I'll be listening regardless, I always do
  2. I'm just gonna have to learn my lesson that she can't do anything as great as EICS anymore Trashing quality for funny lines…sigh
  3. it honestly says a lot about her that she thought any woman would want to hear "I'd give up a few rights" right now, but I guess she's taking a page out of sabrina's book and riling up feminists for some album sales
  4. 101 members in this thread OT: truly starting to believe that whatever goes on in nicki's head is a bigger mystery than whatever happened to amelia earheart
  5. reading this thread and seeing which users care more about complaining abt "cAncEL cULture!!!!111!!" (diddy just got off, dr luke is still employed, chris brown is still successful, but yes, keep telling us abt how much 'cancel culture' is real) than the harmful **** she did. Said same people chime in to go "oh god that apology was so beautiful and well put" ...it's all just very, very telling
  6. Jump is cute but Golden is just top tier
  7. There's a very interesting conversation to be had about the way women are demonized for expressing their sexuality and whether or not they're pandering to men at the same time. Is it sexist to assume women are do everything for men's pleasure or is there some merit to discussions about the way she presents herself? Is it revolutionary to be openly sexual when we're in a conservative political climate or does is she just another blonde haired and blue eyed girl singing about wanting to be pregnant? We go from "I know a thing or two about a great bang" and cheeky innuendos to what appears to be just another sexy cover that actually hold some feminist imagery (looking dead at the camera instead of up at the man). …but then I remember it's all for controversy so the album will sell so there's really no point
  8. It's cute but it's no Busy Woman
  9. Baldoni still having the gall to be shameless about doing anything he possibly can to get Blake drugged through the mud after his team openly admitted to following Depp's handbook of how to get the internet on your side 101 just....people really just hate women to their core
  10. I've yet to see a tiktok, a tweet, any type of post that has been successful in making me care about this
  11. I hated it but acknowledged I loved the clean version more and that it was really just the lyrics and then the performance video came out the next day and I was completely sold. This song is so lit, congratulations
  12. I strongly disagree with her actions, and I'm so disappointed in her as someone who adored her a child...that being said, I can only assume that for some of the larger hate is a form of stress relief. Like it's a break from hating bigger, more damaging persons like Trump or something. Katy's actions are so stupid that I guess it's refreshing to be up against the dumb goon instead of the big bad.
  13. "collecting mental health disroders" lmfao how off topic. You mean people are getting diagnosed and receving the help they need now instead of spending their whole life struggling without knowing why? Here's a news flash since you both need it: Ostracizing people who clearly part of the queer community isn't going to make violent bigots like us anymore. They already DON'T like us. Standing next to them and shouting against the rights of our fellow queers isn't going to make them like us more. Trans people have always been a part of queer history no matter how badly you want to separate the two so we're "easier to stomach". Y'all sound like those "Drop the T" losers who are willing to bury each other for a morsel of respect you're not going to get.
