The genocide that Israel is committing in Palestine is NOT politics, it's not an opinion, it's not a case of "I can see both sides" thing. Art is a form of expression, artists say and do things on tour relating to what they are passionate or care about, sometimes including global events that may be devastating. Ed doesn't give a **** about that, he just wanted to perform and was perfectly contempt with kicking his headliner off the tour to do so. This sets a really bad precedent for all artists who openly support Palestine and were slated to perform at any of these venues. Ed is spineless.

I vaguely remember MNEK, which is a name that would never catch on with the GP, and then he disappeared. Troye has been consistently releasing music, some of it being quite good, and has his finger on the pulse of what is interesting and occasionally slightly viral. He made friends and connections with the right people and has carefully cultivated his image since he started on YouTube. MNEK has not done this, and that's why he's irrelevant no matter how talented he may be.

Hilariously it is non-vegans that label plastic as "vegan" leather and sell it to us as if it's a sustainable and luxurious material. Even "vegan apple and cactus leather" is still heavily reliant on plastic. It's almost like the material humans have been using for thousands of years is coincidentally the most sustainable of them all.

I would assume the US has killed more people than Iran? Just like I know the UK, China, and Russia have killed more people than most countries on Earth. It's just a really irrelevant historical fact to use as a claim why X country in 2026 is worse than a terrorist group. If he wants to make that claim more accurately, why not point to the deaths in Palestine and Gaza, the economic affects of the war and closure of Hormuz, and the negative realities that closure has caused? How many people is this affecting realistically compared to anything Al-Queda has done? What I'm trying to say is that there are concrete ways to sort of make his point beyond a statistic that the US isn't even a world leader in.

Most currently and forermly wealthy nations have killed more people than Al-Queda, several times over, including nations in the Middle East. That's not a novel historical event for any country that has fought in at least one war. I have no issues with Hassan, but this statement is just "vibes" used to built emotional weight to make a larger point. Unfortunately, he distracted from and even diluted it.
