  1. I came into this thread looking for the exact same thing.
  2. It's very telling that Janet's are consecutive while covering the same timeframe of the selected Madonna albums.
  3. Still a poor position to take. Janet and Madonna did not perform like their female predecessors, largely because they didn't possess the vocal prowess to do so, and that was the standard for performances for that time (pre -1982). Back then, those women just stood at the mic and sung. Janet and Madonna have practically written the book on live performing and visual artistry, and directly explains why artists - both male and female - are expected to have large productions in their performances and a strong visual component to their artistry.
  4. BOMT wouldn't be possible without Wannabe. So that alone, Wannabe > BOMT. The song is currently being used in ads. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLyv4j1bwBU
  5. Between Stevie and Marvin. I'd give Stevie the edge on catalog.
  6. Well here's a second person who didn't lie.
  7. Celine is bigger than Madonna worldwide.
  8. There's no way this actually happened.
  9. This was in July, by a singer in the UK. So much for being "forgotten". So much for being "local".
  10. A tour can't be "global" if it didn't go to all the inhabitable continents.
  11. Oh it happens all the time. You must be new to atrl.
