They dropped the ball even before Echo was released, so many great songs didn't even make the album. This should have been the single to launch Echo.

Very true but at the time the dubstep version made sense. I remember the first time we heard it, she performed it in a night club and it was terrible grainy footage and audio and I was convinced she'd be launched back into superstardom!! Turns out they wouldn't even release it.

Still can't believe Sugar was only on the Deluxe, the Glassheart album had so much potential to relaunch Leona and they fumbled so badly.

She has sold 40+ million records, One More Sleep is huge in the UK and continues to grow gradually each year elsewhere, plus the album tracks are everywhere on Christmas playlists, so that is probably a nice little top up each Christmas season. She's toured the UK several times, the first being a major sold out arena tour and another 3 times in theaters, the most recent being December 2023. She starred as Grizabella in the Broadway revival of Cats, has also acted in a movie and tv shows and was a judge on RuPaul's Queen Of The Universe for a season. She pops up as a guest judge around the world on talent shows/music shows. She also owns two vegan coffee shops in LA which seem to be really successful with plans to expand in London. She also used to do a loads of private gigs, which paid a pretty penny. She might not release music as frequently as she did but she has kept herself relatively busy.

Its about Christmas, she already said it was an early Xmas gift a few weeks ago. Sadly I don't think its new music, especially with the teaser using Bleeding Love, its likely shows.

I actually don't think Simon was her issue, to this day he stilll supports her and gives her opportunities, it was Clive Davis and the US label that really messed Leona's career up imo.

No she doesn't have an MBE. People like to downplay Leona's success, but 35 million+ records sold and countless broken records in the UK charts, 17 years into her career and has just completed another tour of the UK, that is great longevity many artists would kill for.
