Ok but like… any one of Max Martin/L*ke's girls could've sung half of Prism and nobody would've blinked. You really can't say that about My Everything tho, no shade..

Also in retrospect, Prism kinda feels like a filler album to me. Not that it's bad, but it very obviously feels like Katy trying to secure her pop girl status again after Teenage Dream. Especially because if I remember correctly, the album was originally supposed to be a lot darker..

Prism is good but Ari for all. I know it gets the rep for being her playlist album but it's pretty solid

My Everything is light years ahead but the cover is liteally shite, PRISM cover is gorgeous

I'd say My Everything takes singles though… I LOVE Roar, Unconditionally, and Birthday but the other two singles are godawful it's a little nuts because Birthday might be my second favorite Katy song after Tenge Dram (), but Dark Horse is literally the PITS imo. crazy how the one I can't stand became such a big hit and yet the one I love so much was the start of Katy underperforming shows how horrible the American GP's taste can be I suppose! otoh, every single from My Everything is excellent
