I have a feeling Cece might not have the longest run, and I don't even mean that in a hater way. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a lot of the criticism already that she can't really sing live, and that the newer singles aren't living up to the previous album? She gives me very Neon Hitch / Natalia Kills / Uffie vibes... like a cute cult moment where one era ends up defining the whole career and people just keep going back to those songs.

I also think the bigger budget almost works against her a little? Once everything gets too polished, the references become way more obvious and she starts blending in with every other girl doing the same thing. I could be completely wrong, but I feel like Cece needs another really strong, distinct era soon or Miss Behaves is always going to be the thing people associate her with.

This is what takes me out.. because I actually have a little tea on her that makes the whole "I'm sooo not a pop star" thing even funnier… but I'm not trying to get a cease & desist tonight. Let's just say the word organic would not be the first word coming to mind for me.

Some of her fans are so annoying and pretentious about that too. Every time a pop artist releases something that isn't pop and you say it's not that good, you have the same comments like "maybe she isn't the artist for you, you should go back to listen to Katy Perry or something" acting like she just released a Björk b-side. **** off!
