She's the artist who needed money for her actual life goal which was her company and you can easily see that she puts all her energy into this while her discography falls flat except the singles and then she ended her music career with an actual masterpiece (ANTI) while her previous ones weren't even close to that one. I had the chance to see her live on a festival, she put zero effort in it to be good but the cash was good. I don't even understand why some of you think she will ever return to music, she doesn't care about it, maybe some features for her friends and that's it. This is what Bridget Mendler did with acting, only for the money.

With what hits?

Sorry but the Gen Z girls just don't have IT the way the millennial pop girls did. None of them have the dominance to replace shite as of now except Billie, but even then it's not clear who exactly she'd be "replacing"

literally

I can understand when people said Doja could have been the 'new' Rihanna, but... Tate?

You are probably thinking something like this:

Billie Eilish - Lady Gaga

Olivia Rodrigo - Taylor Swift

Sabrina Carpenter - Katy Perry

Tate McRae - Rihanna

If you are thinking this... it's okay (if you want I guess), there isn't many artists to compare with Rihanna or put her in that space (and please don't come here saying Tyla).

BUT... Tate's next album has to be massive if she wants to change her place in the industry, people don't take her as serious artist.

Tate joining the very long list of young female musicians who were supposed to replace Rih. Like how powerful is she, ten years away from the game and they're still trying to find someone to take her place

She needs about 15 worldwide hits first to be able to replace Rihanna.

At this point, the only one she has replaced so far is Ciara.

Ciara had several hits under her belt and two albums that did well. Tate isn't seeing her either.

It's a good thing Tate has twelve global hits already
