Cardi B - "AH HA"

Featured Replies

It's interesting how people are divided. Some love the video while others don't same for the song.

That said, the song is a cute summer bop and the video gets better with each viewing.

it's a hit but not yet a smash and this is the first bread crumb from the cb3 era I think it was smart to start with a summer bop and see if this is the direction to go in. Remember, she was surprised that the songs she just had fun with took off (outside, pretty and petty, errtime) and the ones she put the most effort in where either paid dust (imaginary players) or received a cute response (safe/man of your word, that Selena ft) .

So she's going in a fun direction but outside of club and street bops she'd benefit from going more mainstream and get choruses and bridges that are less explicit.

I think I'd like to see the vibe from the snippet in continuation for the full video but the actual video hits the right marks.

I give the song B and the video a B+

Can you blame them? Their fave is at her lowest. Fat, nasty and broke. She has to sell her house to pay bills, she probably can't afford studio time anytime soon. I'd be jealous as **** too.

i actually appreciate the street scene more than her over-CGI'd visuals in her last couple of years tbh

How is this doing?

Not as good as I hope it would. Cardi's streaming power has died a little and that's concerning going forward

the only way this would have splashed bigger is if it had been released on 8/7 with a video and momentum or even released in earlier July.

This song is a bop and a hit in the clubs and will be on radio...but she already has 50-11 of these.

She needs to break new ground. Female rap is dying out...music is not popping as much so breaking new ground is imperative.

This is good for the summer and still doing it's thing but she needs to put out music that feels like a breath of fresh air.

HOw many times is she going to clapback at z list rappers.

She's won the battle and the war so let's have some anthemic, feel good music in the future.

She's supposed to go into the studio this month and I think the fact that this song gave Mc Donald's hit for a bit is a good thing to shake things up. She'll know she has to step it up further if she wants something to serve longevity instead of hit for the moment.

BG has said they don't want anymore diss songs they want new content. I just want her to get more top 40 and stronger rhythmic play as she has urban on lock.

I look forward to her features and new songs that hopefully cover new topics.

Ah ha remains a summer bopjonny2
