sadly, you can really tell she lost the budget for high value producers. all of her recent stuff sounds homemade.

When she had budget she was terrible and now its even worse. I knew from the start that if she went independent would ruin even more the flop of career she had. She doesn't have any talent, vision and it isn't even interesting at all which is sad since she really seems to try but it's not for her. For her good sake she needs to retire

I think in most cases implying that a popstar needs a certain producer/and in Ava's case ex to thrive can be a dated sexist notion usually driven by people not into popstars who keep talking about how every popstar is a vapid label project with no say who only sells sex. In this case though it's pretty clear that Circuit was the driving force behind every past hit and she happened to have the vocals to fulfil the songs. She has no artistic instincts on her own whatsoever.

ngl i like all this stuff, it does at least sound like a bit more effort went into it than bits of the last album (which was fine tbh)

The last album and all these recent singles sound on par with her 1st two records (aka disposable, catchy at times dance/pop songs), so I don't know why people do now the most just because she is flopping hard.

I actually love these new songs, but agree that the audio mixing has been lacking. The songs are really good, though

Yeah... Killer Queen was ok but we never needed a whole album of lesser versions of it.
