I'm having a mcm platform bed custom made and decided it's probably time to upgrade my mattress as well. I'm a back sleeper and prefer a hotel-like sleep, so I'm thinking I'll probably want a hybrid mattress.

Any other high-maintenance atrlers who have recommendations?

well I recently just built a bed and bought a latex mattress which is firm (side/back sleeper) which I like, but very heavy and a pain to set up. I tried memory foam and hated the sinking feel and it had zero edge support so I'm sticking with the latex one. It's not the most comfortable mattress ever, but it'll probably be best for my posture long term and less prone to sag.

I like spring mattresses and would have gotten a hybrid if i hadn't tried latex.

I had Sleep on Latex and I liked it. But I wanted something slimmer for my low profile bed so I did a custom 6" SleepEZ mattress.
