    • Not enough, at this rate they should disband instead of giving the band 20% of their time and energy.

    • They care, and they should still squeeze band activities in no matter what, even if their hearts are not in it anymore.

After the deadline teasers were posted today and none of them reposted them, my theory feels confirmed. It's not YG, its the girls, they don't care as much anymore. Sure they could've toured every corner of the world again but for why? It is clearly more fun and fulfilling to pursue their solo careers. I get it, I'd rather perform Seoul City and Like Jennie than Playing with Fire for the 1000th time.

now what if they can give us better quality solo projects (as they did during the hiatus) instead of the weird bp put outs they are not even connected to

Like this is what makes me so mad

BP was a breath of fresh air in 2016 and were needed (2016/2017 was a very weird era for K-pop tbh). But they, along with BTS, kind of jump-started K-pop's relentless quest for Western approval/fans that has transformed the genre into the bland wasteland it is today.

And now they dont care

yeah it's sad

I think something has shifted when they get the chance to do their solo works away from YGE, the energy as a group doesn't feel the same anymore.

they are both products of an industry that has been trying to captivate the west since the 00s. Sure they perfected the formula of the groups that came before them. But if it wasn't them then another group would've done it. so idk why they would make you so mad, they did/are doing what they're told like 99% of kpop.

imo it's the big companies debuting groups with faceless similar looking members devoid of personality one after another that is making kpop lose its spark.

They not applying pressure.. they did a comeback tour with ONE new song and is just now releasing the album ( a 6 track mini ep mind you) a month after the tour is over deadbanana2

BLACKPINK was nothing but a repackaged and less edgier version of 2NE1 nothing about them was refreshing

I think they're tired of this tour and just want to get this EP out to focus on their solos. Somehow the material they did as solo artists is way more interesting than their latest releases as a group.

Blackpink is a mangled corpse of a group and idk why ppl are yet to realize they should've disbanded a long time ago

They finally have the resources to succeed as solo artists/businesswomen without the need of the band, and they'd rather work on something they can actually control vs release whatever crap YG has in the vault for them. Their music has been mostly horrible since day 1, but this is a problem with mainstream k-pop and not just BP.

Groups never last forever, and I think we all knew that.

they cared for like 2 seconds in 2016-7, everybody can see that except their fans

nah this is a BP problem; TWICE has been releasing non stop content since their debut

i stopped stanning when they announced Deadline as an EP

They haven't cared in years...they keep releasing the same song over and over again anyway, I'm sure they are tired of it.

K‑pop is sooo over. 2013–2017 were the golden years, and now it's just slop after slop.
I'm not blaming anyone, it's just… we all knew the industry had an expiration date.

they are doing better on there own now and there are much better kpop groups now so ..
