I think pairing 2024 with 2025 as I do is a whole cinematic experience. One can't exist without the other.

Honestly the pure serotonin vibes from the music was just amazing in 2024. Closest to comparison would be 2016 in my opinion

2024 was literally one of the worst years in human history but musically it was cute.

It was definitely a great year for pop girls and pop music, easily the best out of the decade so far, but outside of that in a general sense, it was kinda tragic. We all knew what was coming in November.

Eh... I don't think any of the years mentioned in the thread so far make me feel like "oh wow I feel so lucky to be alive and witness all this amazing music". The last year that feels like that for me might be 2008. Early 2010s if we're pushing it.

2025 was pretty slow it had some great moments but it's clear 2026 is going to blow it out of the water already has honesty.

I do put 2024/2025 in the same boat as sister years.
