A DJ mix is arguably the most underrated format of music. People overlook these mixes a lot in music discussions. A typical critique against this format I've heard is that they're just songs strung together therefore has little artistic merit. I am here to argue that this is plain WRONG. A DJ mix is more than sum of its parts. The technical prowess required for tasteful transitions aside, the mood-setting, the song selections (oftentimes under-appreciated themselves), the remixes sometimes made specifically for the mix are equally valid forms of artistic expression.

Perhaps another reason people overlook them is that they associate the format with club DJs, while a majority are indeed played/recorded in clubs and concerts, there are a handful that are not related to EDM that deserve more recognition. So ATRL, share some of your favorite DJ mixes to prove the haters wrong!
