For as creative as Madonna can generally be her collabs have always been atrociously obvious ploys to make her appear "cool" to insert youngest generation and never about who her artistry genuinely syncs up with.

Gaga's collabs in contrast have smashed because they're always intentional. Bruno, Bey, Ari, Doechii, etc. these all make sense because she shares creative lanes, talent, and/or audiences with these other artists.

Exactly the Gaga ones always happened with artists she had a genuine connection and esteem which was reflected in the quality of the songs, meanwhile the other always had collaboration with who was hot at that specific moment even if the artist was not a right fit for her.
