Test Anxiety

Featured Replies

Are you a good at taking exams? Or do you overthinking it too much, and tend to get so anxious that u don't do so well?

I typically hate exams and tend to over think and not read the questions correct which makes it hard for me.

If I actually study well in advance I do amazing.

If I try to 'wing it' then I do horrendous.

I think if you study the overall concept as opposed to specific questions/answers, you will do fine.

Sometimes the questions could be super tricky. For ex

Question:

How many times can you subtract 5 from 25?

A. 25 times

B. 5 times

C. Once

D. 8 times

Spoiler

Answer:

C. Once. After the first subtraction, the number is no longer 25, so you can only subtract 5 from 25 one time.

I hate questions that are just like this:chick3:

thats crazy! lmao

Ugh I hate tests. Like, I can barely remember what day it is. I'm so bad at them, I got one question wrong during a test for a work training program -- and they told us the answer to said question like 10 minutes before we took the test :rip:

I got extreme anxiety for the best of times but I think appointments or leaving the house gives me more anxiety than tests

because I already know i'm going to fail them so I kinda don't even study or stress about them.  Its a little sad actually. (its the same with job interviews or applying for rentals most people have anxiety while I just don't care anymore because I know its going to be a no)
