Single camera, small battery, like who on earth would buy that, only because its 'thin' so that I would buy a seperate battery to charge it?

Iirc Galaxy Edge also underperformed and that one made even less comprises than iPhone Air.

Imo if these phones were priced similarly to the base models they would've done better even if the specs stayed worse, but 'pay more for less stuff for just so your phone is skinny' is very unappealing.

Yea they should have given it two cameras.  The battery life is actually good, it's the same as the base 16.  I think the fact that they over engineered the Air so it's extremely durable is what forced them to market it as a premium phone.  The original MacBook Air was also marketed this way, but eventually all MacBooks and even many MBPs became that thin.

I still use an iPhone 11 and have never had the urge to upgrade my phone

I have a 7+ but need to switch now because my required apps are no longer supported by the iOS.
