K-pop needs new producers. I can deal with cringe English hooks, but Lack of melody is really standing out now. JYP what are you doing? That's supposed to be your specialty

Absolutely. KATSEYE is winning right now because they took a Rita Ora demo FULL of melodies. They're ear catching.

 

This band has singers. They don't have to rely on faceless overproduction like the majority of K-POP.

for me sounds like aespa whiplash the way they singing it not the beat, i want to hear it full before i say something, maybe the MV help.

As someone said before, it's very ITZY-ish. I think their debut song "Girls of the year" should have been the real sonic direction for the group, bubblegum pop done right. 

No melody, no rhythm just overproduced noice. They'll never make it out of the kpop niche with **** like this. It's a shame cause the girls are genuinely talented.
