It's not gross it is the truth of the situation that had a huge impact on how the following stages of her career played out.

It really isn't but some of you all fell for the stupid comparisons it seems. I bet it's the weird haircut that made people compare them. Just like when Legendtina released Not Myself Tonight and she was accused of copying Gaga's sound just because she wore looks inspired by Madonna.

No, it objectively sounds like something that was left on the cutting room floor of Prism or The Fame lol

She's making really basic radio fodder songs for years now. The samples were a way of giving her edge/personality. She needs a very strong producer on board

Her first tour in 2023 did very well so I don't get the mean comments from some of you. She was building a little niche fan base.

Ava's image and brand are one of the most unapologetically European of a female pop star ever: cute, sexy, blonde, dance-pop songs you can shake your hips to etc. She will bounce back from this 100%, and when she does… just watch out.

Sweet But Psycho and Queens and Kings are very Gaga coded, the vocal styling specifically. Also the clown make and "Don't Click Play" = her manifesting her ARTPOP era. Maybe this is all part of the plan!

Ava Max never had the proper team and label behind her. "Kings & Queens" and "Sweet But Psycho" did decently. Perhaps her team did something then. 

So many of the singles she released were bops that should have done better. They may not be the most groundbreaking things ever but they were radio friendly and more basic things by other artists did much better because they had a proper push and a longterm plan and strategy. It looks like they are just releasing singles and seeing what sticks.

As for the tour situation, if the ticket sales were indeed that low, they over-estimated the possible demand. Other than on ATRL, I had no idea she had a tour happening so it's likely that the fans that she has didn't even know. But if they did and they were still not interested, she hasn't formed enough of an identity and connection with the fans for them to justify purchasing tickets. A theater tour, a club tour, or spots at EDM festivals may have been more appropriate. A decent or even strong amount of streams will not necessarily lead to ticket sales, even if the cost of the tickets is reasonable.

She needs new management, a different label.

no she just turned 20 she has a lot of time to turn things around
