It really isnt  maybe on some of the Born Piss songwriter camp'd bsides but aside from that they literally inveneted the "Blackpink formula"

things I loved about the video:

 

- the final scene, specially the outfits. the whole video felt very "ready for love brought to life"

- the strobe lights coming out of their fingers was sooo cool

- when they were literally inside people's skulls it felt like a direct reference to extral

 

things I didn't like

 

- when they're flying but somehow jennie is standing(?)

- the second chorus was a missed opportunity to have them do the choreo in new outfits, it felt quite repetitive, but I guess it wasn't ready when they filmed the video

- it felt like jisoo had a total screentime of 3 seconds, and she's far from being my bias but i feel bad for her and her solo fans

This doesn't stray too far away from their usual stuff while still being a fresh take on it. I had only heard tidbits of the live performance so I came in not knowing a lot, but I'm very pleasantly surprised. I love this dance-y direction for them. Hopefully they lean even more into it. I need them to have a full sleazy dance Like a G6-esque moment now.

 

The video is so damn stupid in a very good way. As some people have already said, it's missing a bit of choreo, but overall it still feels new and fun for them.

also with them being on tour and all I'm truly not expecting an album anytime sure but they can do what they do best which is dropping MASSIVE droplets throughout the tour

I honestly wouldn't care if they scrap the album and retire. We got the banger of the century anyway.

wow, the live version was great, but let's be real, the studio version is on another level, the production is just flawless. 

 

I hope that if we ever get more music in the future (though I doubt it), they stick with this eurotechno vibe. 

The album is coming. There is no way they literally planned a break from mid August to almost mid October with no full release in sight. Especially considering the final leg of the tour extends its way onto early 2026, doing Asian markets (in which they tend to sell physicals and pull big streaming numbers). There is for sure a release being planned - let it be an extended mini or an album in YG lenght.

i'm kind of shocked that i can still love a new song by Blackpink. after Born Pink i thought i had grown out of them.

i'm not expecting any promotion for this song at all since they're literally on tour the whole month of july but please PLEASE give us how you like that dance practice level of excellence

teddy and all the pinks were all artistically drained on all fronts back in the born pink era. the solo ventures this year really did something for all of them
