I'm unsure if anyone here remembers her but she was an up and coming pop girl from the mid 2000s. Taylor Swift praising her debut single "Mine" helped her get noticed and then her bagging collabs with The Chainsmokers, Kid Ink (off Fifth Harmony's "Worth It"), blackbear, and Tove Lo showed that Columbia clearly was trying to push her at one point and catapult her into stardom, but she soon fizzled out, got dropped, and took a few years before releasing her debut album on her own label and hasn't released a follow-up in nearly five years  

 

I just question why she didn't make it big when she had a lot of promise: she was cute, had an interesting and distinct voice, and a really great  pen (she wrote Britney's "Man On The Moon" and Melanie Martinez's "Teddy Bear), but she got lost in the sea of forgotten white pop girls like Bea Miller and Lennon Stella.

I liked the Mine EP back when it came out (the R. Kelly cover ) but everything after that lacked any sort of flavor.

She had cute music, I listened to a lot of her stuff back in the day but she really got stuck in that certain vibe of internet pop? Idk what to call it nn 

 

The music does okay but it's hard to make a strong fan base with it.

I loved that first EP when it came out 

 

But truly, the material just wasn't strong enough for her to succeed

Dead was my bop before I became more discerning about boring pop girls

omg i completely forgot about her  i used to bop a bit but her music got more and more basic and faceless as she kept releasing so i lost interest
