She cares a little too much for awards and recognition, in part that's what's pushed her to keep getting better music every era, but on the other hand I don't think that's good for her. i remember a decade ago people were saying She only had a big fanbase b/c country listeners were universally so loyal, so they were gloating at the downfall upon the pop turn.

 

now the only country person putting up #s is that morgan person. very good decision on Her part to leave that genre (mostly) behind.

Summer releases are usually not intended to be Oscar bait films and a sole nomination for Best Song (if nominated) without the film being acknowledged lessens the chance of a win. The movie also seems like a Teen Wolf type of film 
 

and it seems like they are saying that Carolina was written for Folklore

All tho Folklore won AOTY most likely deep down she was disappointed she didn’t want at least one more. Pop Duo  is what everyone was predicting as a easy win. AOTY wins without winning the genre category seems so ugly. 

 

Should Folklore and Evermore been submitted into Alternative Music Album instead? 

Is All Too Well a country song or is it Pop? It stands no chance in Pop Vocal against Easy on Me and the Harry Styles song so far the country songs category seems weak as of now and watch her submit it into Pop.

Exile would have won if it had been released as a single (with MV and Pop H/AC radio). 

Apparently she couldn't submit neither at Alternative categories because she's a pop girl or a mainstream artist. I think Folklore is pop x alternative album meanwhile yes evermore deserved at least an alternative nomination because it barely has any pop moments on it.

I'm totally fine with her staying silent but if she really spend three whole years to release TVs........
