Think about When Love Takes Over or Lean On... hit songs where the DJ/Producer was the real Star but that featured vocals from singers who also added those songs to their hit catalogs*

 

Can You see this for Katy? Real question. I myself would like it.

 

I'd be here for another When I'm Gone but with more interesting production. I love that song.

But those DJs often feature Who's like Katy is still bigger than Khia Rowland

She doesn't really have anything left to lose, so why not? 

Are djs still a thing? I thought they all dissapeared from the maintream charts* top 40-100 in this new decade
