Tell me why in 2019 when i was moving out on my own for the first time, I watched a video she uploaded not even knowing that she made music and later in 2025 she'd be receiving her first Grammy. Truly inspiring.

Discovered her in 2022 with Persuasive and got me hooked ever since!!

No. I don't need arguably the two best, highly-melanated female rap vocalists in modern rap beefing anymore.

I like this Southern-influenced lane she's taking right now. I see Doechii x Megan Thee Stallion, Doechii x JID, Doechii x Anderson Paak, as well as Doechii x Solange being an organic fit.

 

I want Doechii to continue to find her own lane, and perhaps Azealia moving to Stockholm will bear fruit. Her touring is definitely getting back on track. I would be intrigued to hear Azealia Banks on a Max Martin track (his camp and European studios are headquartered in Stockholm).

It'll be interesting to see what her next move is. Anxiety is obviously shaping up to be a crossover type of hit but the mixtape that led to her breakout these past few months is decidedly more hip hop/rap leaning. Especially compared to most of what she was pushing as singles since signing to TDE officially in 2022.

I never said for them to beef. I said for her to take the gap up. Azealia doesn't drop often so it's not bad if someone else wants to occupy that lane who is actually capable of it such as Doechii with her versatility and ear for music.

 

 

Also Doechii is going to keep switching it up. She will revisit the Persuasive style eventually and elevate it even more. Don't act surprised when it happens lol.

Everyone is talking about her as per usual and after dissecting her look from last night, I understand why she went this route instead because all the other girlies were wearing what she wears ON THE REGULAR.
