tbh im always a hater of short songs but in some cases its fine (for example: start a war, with the IE) but Mantra and Like Jennie especially would have hit harder if they were a bit longer

The biggest gag is how Zen shines SO much in the context of the album.

It went from a 5/10 to a 9.5/10 for me nnnnnnn

Like Jennie could have been soty if it was a minute longer still great though

just looked it up, Alter Ego's new tracks had 2.2M partial day streams
Ruby's new tracks have 2.5M (1 more new track tho)
So i feel like we can expect similar numbers to Alter Ego ~24-25M first day
But word of mouth might help boost Jennie's numbers a bit more, we'll see

For Jennie to achieve that without bots would be good

With tracks like ExtraL, Love Hangover and Damn Right, she was really channeling a Summer Walker/R&B esque album

No matters the numbers she needs to promote and performs! The album is so good for her to disappear after the Seoul concert! 
She have a partnership with VEVO so I better see her dropping some special performances, let's do a late night show , Inkigayo and Japanese music show too! 

definitely the best of the blackpink solo releases so far, really enjoying this. annoyed tho that the cd has no features, i imagine her stans mainly buy them for the photocards and general tat but i would actually want the proper album before dropping 20 quid on it

MISS JENNIE KIM ATE WITH THISSS! Never been interested in her music but the album overall is so solod, Starlight and Seoul City are SO AMAZING. All the tracks are tbh. I hope this will stuck with the audience cause she really gave us everything, I can't name a filler tbh cause the whole project is so beautifully made. I have to stan her from now on I fear

i dont wanna jinx it but i think it might do even more just because the focus track on alter ego was born again and the gp didnt really love that but handlebars is #2 on tth and people seem to be really into that + its a new track unlick born again, so who knows

It's Smart for her to rehearsing early! The atmosphere will be different tonight since people will be more familiar with the songs!

This review couldve been by me, only difference is that my top tracks are a bit different. I think I stan Like Jennie, Handlebars, With The IE and Zen the most atm. But I agree, theres no filler or skip on the album.

Personally, I go as far as saying its AOTY among females atm. I do think Bad Bunny was even more ambitious overall and slightly got the edge, but Ruby is a close second in the AOTY race for me at least

The way I don't even like slow songs but that Dua lipa duet is gorgeous…

i watched her Zane Lowe interview a night or two ago and it got me so excited for the album. it really is so special to her
